And it was. At the time, I was the only tourist in the blizzard, in the mountains, at an altitude of about 1300 metres. And I thought my face would freeze before I got to the mountain shelter situated some 300 metres higher. With practically no visibility, you actually felt as if you were in a totally different reality. And I loved it. Glad my camera didn't freeze.

Well, it was not so much the temperature - it was around -12 C - but the wind that wirtually blew you off your feet and made your cheeks freeze.
