Something I shot earlier today, not far from home. It was freezing cold, minus fifteen Celcius - by the time I got back home I thought my face was already frozen. But the scenery was stunning.

I like the composition here, how the trees seem to try and 'reach' the sky, and the little bit of empty space in the centre complements it nicely.

I agree with ~mjagiellicz about the contrast - there could be just tiny bit more it is; but the colours look great anyway. With such blue sky and traces of yellow/orange sunlight on the branches, it almost doesn't look like winter

Thanks for your comment. Much appreciated. I'm still not sure about the contrast though. With a relatively wide lens, I captured a range of the sky, and some parts (the right-hand side) were filtered quite nicely by the polarizer, whereas not much could be done about the left-hand side, as it was closer to the source of light, the sun, and the polarizer was useless here. And I hate interfering with the picture selectively - it's either the entire frame or nothing
