Just sold a picture!

DeviantART has just notified me that one of my pictures has been sold! Thank you to whoever decided to adorn their walls with a copy of my work. It is greatly appreciated.

And a thought, sort of by the way... I don't think there is a greater way of showing people your appreciation than by paying for whatever they do. This little sale of mine has just made me realise deviantART is not just for publishing your art, it is also a market for buying and selling. I'd like to apeal to anyone who's reading this - if you like an artist's work, buy it. Let them see they are good and appreciated. Naturally, I will most fervently invite you to have a look at my portfolio, but my message is more general. Myself, I'm going to spend the next couple of hours going through the galleries of those I appreciate, and I swear I will buy something today. Especially that I've got a new flat with walls to decorate with fine prints.
